But I think what really did it was him pathetically trying to throw the studio under the bus during the media tour for kickass 2
He took all his money, agreeing to do the circuit. Then declared they were profiting off of violence and that he wouldn't support it (ie do is contractually obligated promotions)
He also didn't donate one red dime of his violence profiteering
But yea can't imagine studios would take a risk on him for anything but a full child's movie

Jim Carrey was weirdly anti vax around like 2011-2013ish but never really said anything since. He's more accepted now than he was like 10 years ago, plus I'm sure being in big movies like Sonic helps.

I saw that he was part of the Adam Sandler family so I guess he will do fine
