I just saw it and thought it was interesting. I somehow never heard of it even though I was 10 when it came out and spent a lot of time in video stores. Somehow slipped through the cracks for me.
I like that they went for that ending too. Not your typical thriller. One of the few things I saw that Star Trek lady in after she quit Star Trek.

That Punisher objectively blows. The Titus Pullo and McNulty version was one of the most fucked up things I've ever seen though.
