The only difference is that Jessie had a chance to survive via a vote, while Rachel had a chance to survive via a competition.

The twist is objectively bullshit and going out entirely because of a twistfuck without anyone voting or nominating you is one of the worst twists that could happen to anyone in this game. But the only reason the BB fanbase is upset about it is because it happened to Rachel.
