I shut off Eragon when they skipped all of saphira and eragon bonding while she grows.
I was already pissed off at the way they had the empire skulking around like corrupt cops and how they turned brom into a scruffy joke. the backflip into instant maturity was like a jumpscare. i've read the whole main book series a half dozen times and the spinoffs a few times each. murtagh kinda sucked aside from his orbital laser spell.

and yet i still haven't watched the rest of the movie. miss me with that pure shit

Sandler singing Whitney Houston in the shower is a little funny. But it wasn't funny enough to be a comedy and didn't have enough action to be action and they weren't buddies enough for it to be a buddy adventure. I think they were trying to remake Midnight Run or something. It just didn't work.

I really loved the trailer for Point Break 2015. Unfortunately the movie is such a mess.

It's really GORGEOUS visually, still. But such a mess narratively.
