They should release another trailer sometime soon, one which gives a better idea of the story and what the movie is about. The existing one is kinda bad and I can see it making most normies go

What kind of stupid shit is this thinking? It's the next chapter of a story. Zoomies are really confused that the same characters are there in the same setting and events are continuing from the previous entry? That's mindblowing and baffling to them? It somehow should be set on a different planet with completely new characters and a new story with new spaceships? Be titled Part THREE but be completely unrelated to Part TWO?

Unironically though, it's probably weapons and fun toys to play with, like the flamethrower in the post below yours

It appears to be hitting many of the same beats, and the trailer lacks the story/narrative context to show how this isn't just Way of Water again but fire themed.
>meeting a new Good Na'vi clan, with a new elemental theme
>meeting a new and surprising type of enemy
>Kiri gets captured and threatened
>bad stuff happens to group of children who shouldn't have been exploring the forest on their own
>Payakan jumps onto a ship
>big armies clashing type battle where Neytiri flies around and shows off her archery skills
>set piece where Jake and Quaritch fight while deep inside a hazardous place

Lyle and Quaritch will fight when Quaritch goes native.

I don't want any more trailers. Enough has already been revealed. It's so silly people now need the entire movie spoiled to want to watch it.

It will easily dominate the holiday season without revealing any more footage. Cameron will be swimming in billies. No doubt.

is there any point to watching these outside a good theater? I rewatched Avatar 1 years after it released and it was unremarkable. I enjoyed seeing it in a theater at release though.

I loved them in theater and just as much at home. Far better than anything in the past decade. Especially garbage like marvel and star wars which isn't even good in the theaters.

There is an extended cut of Avatar 1 available on Blu-ray, which is quite a bit better than the original theatrical one you saw. It's only 16 minutes longer but the added scenes are worthwhile and make a big difference
Anonymous No.214326826
>>214326645
Iirc it's not even added scenes it's just that some scenes are extended, which makes the movie flow better.

Different types of plants with different fruit or whatever could grow in the Ash People's territory due to different soil etc.
Or maybe it's blood and they're shown to do some ugly ritual sacrifices of animals or of themselves etc

I'm not the one who complained about Way of Water being "the same movie as the first one." I liked it and thought it was sufficiently different. Other normie audiences are the ones who thought that.
The trailer does a poor job of showing that they're not just doing it again a third time, as some are likely to see it.
