Unfunny and overhyped shite, but it makes lefties screetch autistically, so it's okay.

I hated it with a passion when it was airing. I thought it was mindless brain rot for the masses of shallow gossiping women and gay men. That opinion was based on watching a few minutes and hating the visual and performance style, and audience laughter. I thought I was too good for it.
Years later I got over myself and gave it an honest chance, and loved it. I actually went through a phase of being mildly obsessed with it. As sitcoms go, I now think it's well written and performed. The shit that put me off when I was an edgy teen incel (the studio audience, bright colours, product placement, mainstream popularity, exaggerated characters and performances etc) didn't put me off as much once I appreciated it for what it is: a fun sitcom that doesn't take itself too seriously, like I once did. And with lots of bonus eye candy.

The early seasons are genuinley well written, it turns into more generic sitcom slop later on. But the first few seasons are great.

It is the sitcom that I measure all others. I dont know how other 90s sitcoms measured since I was a kid at the time and my intelligence was just blooming.
