Gina is the office bully who never learns her lesson and Rosa commits police brutality, bullying, and general acts of gratuitous violence on many occasions, but Jake is the one who has a whole season arc about how he learns that he needs to be better.

The Good Guys was better.

Andy Sandberg has the most punchable face I literally cannot watch it. Lights are too bright or something too. It feels like a blockbuster not a police station.

The last season was absolutely the worst fucking thing ever aired on TV

It was during the Covid/BLM riots and they made an entire plotline about muh police brutality and racism. I watched the first five minutes of the first episode and then shut off and pretended like that season never happened

I saw the trailer where Andy samberg turns around in his chair with no pants in and it turned me off to the show. Looks like it takes place in a wacky factory, which is always dumb.

Show went to shit when jake and amy got together and the final two seasons were abominations.

Last season was the worst shit ever

I know it’s a later season but I like when Holt is down in Florida and Jake joins him down there. It was really comfy. Overall it’s one of those shows I probably wouldn’t have watched but I’m glad my ex gf turned me on to it

I thought that came out of left field, but it was fine. I can deal with one episode. But the main part of the comedy show should be funny and not preachy, they can keep the serious moments at the edges of the show.
Like when they were not invited to the captain's party and it turned out it was because Kevin could not get over the gay bashing they got from cops over decades.

Was it the last season where apparently every episode had to be about Jake apologizing for traumatizing a black victim with his white presence and then white cop union bad and racist beat cop and the old boys blocking a gay black or female commissioner etcetc?

It's basically a tv series version of this. Why bother caring.

I liked the Latinas in it and never saw the last couple seasons so maybe I missed the especially woke episodes but it was OK.
