Shoddy as fuck basis for MOVIE GOOD lol - I can write a movie about conflict between Irish and Italian gangs in some American metro in the early 20th century with obvious parallels to manifest destiny and the West, etc. but it means fuck all if it fails in the essentials like pacing, character, acting, etc. And that's without the fact that Snyder obviously was dealing with legacy characters where how they exist in the broader consciousness needs to be considered, i.e. Zuckerberg Lex was always doomed to be divisive
