Back in the day, Trek was a regular on the syndication system, pre-cable TV, which was pre-pre Internet infinities. Many got home from school to be presented with Trek and various other 60s TV shows. Over and over they slowly memorized them via pure rote, if nothing else.

It's good sci-fi, though. Honestly, I have no idea what path, if any, younger generations might get regular exposure to it.

An hour early and possibly an extra hour will be interesting.
Maybe it will be a presentation to make IMP the new host.

Why an extra hour? Are they adding a Scoobies episode after that? Someone noted it was something like 2 hours 9 minutes, but adding an extra hour moves from 21 minutes filler, 90% of which is already spoken for by ads, to 81 minutes needing ads + filler.
