Not only that but they tend to show just how quick you have to be in order to survive an encounter. Everything can be going smoothly til you ask them a question and suddenly they've got a gun halfway drawn. Cop usually shoots first but not always. It takes a fraction of a second for them to draw a pistol and get off a round in your head and drive off. In so many videos I've seen cops draw and shoot before I even noticed the threat.
