Remember that this show took place before cellphones were even a thing. If you wanted or needed to call someone, you had to look for a fucking payphone and be able to have the change in order to make the call at all.

I tried to watch unsolved mysteries for the nostalgia and it ended up being one of those saved by an angel episode and it was tedious to watch but it cured my feeling of nostalgia.

i just caught one like that but before that I saw like 16 different missing persons/murders/unusual sightings that were all chilling, the missing people especially do it for me, something about a disappearance with no body

From the actual show or in general? On the show - Philip Innes Fraser. The randomness of that murder is what gets me.

The murders of Jill and Julie Hansen - the brother did it

Glenn and Bessie Hyde - I like the grand canyon and I think the old woman was telling the truth

I watched all of Unsolved Mysteries a few years ago. One story was about a murderer who was active in my town. Quite unsettling.

One of the strange episodes I remember was the case of Dave Bocks who was working late night at a plant processing uranium and one night he disappeared and they found that the temperature of a furnace full of molten salt had dropped suddenly in the early morning hours. They drained it and found his bones. It was a pretty strange way to commit suicide. Somebody did a podcast series about it.

NTA but from what I understand the most popular theory right now is that she drowned herself in the tank because she was having a mental breakdown

The Boys on the Tracks episodes are fucking wild given the conspiracy they got involved in. The sherif used the Unsolved Mysteries segmentto find other potential witnesses and silenced them.

Coincidence. Doesn't help that the movie takes place in an apartment while Elisa Lam died in a hotel.
