That makes sense. She seemed so young, way too young to be an FBI agent and doctor.

I had no idea it was that much of a age gap, she plays a bratty teen very well. I was studious and read on my free time so I pretty.much behave exactly the same as when I was a teen.

I’m convinced this is part of the reason zoomers who got raised by ipad are creeped out by people under 25 dating older folks.

Good choice casting a younger actress, Deschanel was already walled in season 1 of Bones.

I blame the laws.

Maybe having 3 year breaks for a show about high schoolers was a bad idea. Someone who was in 9th grade when season one dropped is in 12th grade now. Maybe that's why barely any scenes were set during the school day.

im 30 and I mentioned to my friends the other day that "that blonde Wednesday girl is cute" and a couple of my friends were like "dude what the hell she looks like a kid" and i was like you guys are fucking freaks lmao, she is a a postpubescent woman, just has cute features. apparently if a woman doesnt have a dolph lundgren jaw and DD fake tits, you're a pedophile for finding them attractive i guess

It's just easier in every respect to the production to cast people in their early 20s as teenagers, rather than actual teenagers.

With actual teenagers, aside from any issues of labor laws, you're risk having issues because you can't predict what they're going to look like in a few years. You can reasonably expect that a 22-year old is going to look pretty similar when you're on Season 3 and they're 25, but a 15-year old might look strikingly different by the time Season 3 rolls around and they're 18.

I think beyond age 15 or so you’re really not going to get that much change without weight gain/loss
