Kuuga is great. It's basically a cop drama with Kamen Rider thrown in. When I first watched it when I was younger I found the action scenes weird and badly choreographed, but as I got older I have a new appreciation for them. Godai is just a NEET schmuck who is suddenly thrown into battle, so all the random rolling and desperate punches actually makes a lot of sense especially at the early stages. Absolute kino/10.

It's pretty much reddit meets netflix meets globohomo feminism. Basically it's feminism the show made to hypnotise the viewer into thinking "japanese men bad" and "POC women good". There isn't really much more to this dreary show than that.

Kuuga is shit. Black, Gaim, Double is where it's at.

Solid 9/10 show. The final fight was perfect. Kuuga is everything a hero should strive to be.

Kuuga and Agito at least have pretty ok tv character drama because they were still actual television shows. So it's markedly less painful there. It doesn't go to hell until after Ryuki for me. I liked W and Fourze a lot, I want to love OOO's but like, a story never actually precipitates there, it's just a series of 20 minute goofs with the cast with no real overarching narrative ever really forming. But I've been told that OOO's last half was completely fucked over by the Fukushima earthquake interrupting filming, and also some big anniversary event hijacking a couple episodes that were slated to have major plot events that just never got re-inserted.

I love Kabuto. The first half is cool as fuck, then they completely drop the ball on the story and even seem to run out of CG budget for the fights, but it becomes a hilarious comedy instead, so I still enjoy it fully.

Kabuto had a bunch of shit happen in its production, the producers didn't like the direction the show was going and decided to hastily rewrite the entire final arc of the show with like 12 episodes left to film, and then the main female characters actress was mostly ushered out of the show due to "health reasons". Which is usually japanese entertainment lingo for "she didn't want to fuck a strange old man so she was quietly forced to retire"
