He wasn't trying to sell them out. They arranged the ambush when the drug trials gave them all brain tumors. He justified it as giving them the chance to die on their feet rather than a hospital bed. He horribly regretted the wife and kid getting killed and was willing to die to avenge them. Hell, he probably wanted to after that.

It's mostly generic operatorslop. Which is fun to read once in a while. Kinda like a modern Tom Clancy I guess, he goes into detail about all the gear and specific products that Reece uses. He slips in a bunch of book recommendations that are pretty good, like The Afghanistan Papers and Biohazard.

I fucking love this actor since the Gambit cameo in that shitty Wolverine movie, but his character in this was a really shitty friend and person.

The ambush scene in the latest episode was really poorly made. For a series known for its action it looked like something a bunch of teenagers would film.
