I don't really understand why people are shocked by this. His dad is a literal klan member and it stands to reason that the dimension he's a hero in would probably be a white supremacist dimension. It's pretty obvious Gunn is setting up Peacemaker to have to kill his brother when he realizes. The literal entire season arc is dealing with how the dimension is where he wants to be because he has family there, the standard writing asspull is that he will realize the gang is his family at the end battle

There's enough things going on where it's not hard to see why people are assuming it.

Every reviewer got access up to episode 5 where they say a big twist is happening and they weren't allowed to see episode 6-7-8 where Gunn's said all the interesting shit has happened.
Gunn's also said that Peacemaker season 2 now directly sets up Man of Tomorrow/Superman sequel, with David Corenswet being spotted in some of the behind the scenes photos for the season.

If Gunn really wants to, he could just have David Corenswet cameo as Nazi Superman from Earth 10 in this alt earth and have that be the set up for Man of Tomorrow if A.R.G.U.S sees that and goes
