What are some examples of bad worldbuilding?

It's for the sake of storytelling simplicity. Otherwise a single school servicing an entire nation is actually bad worldbuilding from the get-go.

Isn't the idea of the magical university in-universe started by Hogwarts? Rest of the world could be dominated by different systems like apprenticeship or knowledge being passed from father to son. So there are only couple of schools like that in the world and they cover massive areas by default.
