This doesn't mean much. Caine might have a contract signed back in 2015 about appearing in a sequel, but he can choose not to do that. What are they going to do, apart from getting a bit of money from him? Blacklist him from the industry? He's already retired lol. He passed on Now You See Me 3, even though I imagine he was probably also under a similar contract.

Caine said ~2 years ago that he was retiring when a well-received drama with him (aged 90 at that time) came out. Going out on a high note and all that. Witch Hunter seems like a really retarded project to come out of retirement for. Even though it was a serviceable film.

I loved this movie. I know it's not exactly the greatest, but it was a lot of fun.

But.... Isn't he Immortal? How are they going to explain him looking so much older? Just ignore it entirely?

How much older? Diesel was 47 in WH1. He'll be 58 in WH1. It's not a dramatic difference. It's not 20 vs 31.
Movies usually ignore this stuff with no issues. Kate Beckinsale played an immortal vampire from 29 to 43.

I don't think it's been fully filmed. Vin Diesel's Instagram said he was training for Riddick a few months ago. They were probably just filming some promo things and test it out some locations. But in terms of true filming.. there wasn't even casting announce. Just vin in some photographers in the desert

It's been completely filmed. There's BTS with panoramic screens (the things that render the background depending on the position of the camera) and with cameras rolling and everything.

Now, what was going on with Vin filming some Fast & Furious-related car stuff, that I have no idea. It's not the actual filming of F11 (it won't be happening until 2026). And obviously they can't be filming B-rolls (like shots of Vin angrily steering inside the car) some 1-2 years before the main production.
