No because the space station in the movie was made of two halves docked together, named Remus and Romulus, and both were destroyed in the movie.

Based from Ridley to be honest. Alvarez could only make an Alien movie that just regurgitates everything the franchise has already done. Romulus was enjoyable but did absolutely nothing new or interesting. Whatever Ridley has in mind is bound to be more thought provoking.

While i certainly don´t like the direction Ridley took with Prometeus and Covenant i say there is nothing wrong with him saying no. Alien is his baby and if anyone´s going to fuck it up it´s gotta be him.

Sure, that´s why those movies are pretty much irrelevant (some would say merely controversial but i disagree) but still it´s his. Stories are not meant to become ever expanding universes, they are meant to have a beginning and an end, and maybe serve to explain something about our world (not politics) or human condition. He doesn´t need to pass the torch he needs to take it with him to the grave.
