When it comes to competitive reality tv game shows, there are 3 pillars of a player (physical, mental/strategic, social)

This elimination competition focuses on the social aspect of the game and rewards players with good/great social games because they'll have a higher likelihood of getting picked early which gives them a higher chance to be safe and/or they can influence who other players choose to pick next, while the players with shit social games get saved for last and eliminated or have zero influence on who is chosen.

In this elimination competition, they literally spell this out for the viewer multiple times of the social element. At this point in the game, Rachel's social game was one of the best in the house, she was 1 of 2 people to have never touched the block despite being a vet, had the Judges alliance created to protect her and keep Vince in check, and had Keanu wanting to get back with her.

Rachel had formed a final 2 with Ava a month ago but then did fuck all to keep fostering that relationship which allowed Ava to drift towards Lauren. Then she assumed she could strong arm Ava to choose her and it backfired on her and she chose Vince, who then chose Lauren, then Morgan. Thanks to her social game, she could have easily pivoted to not getting picked to play and gamble that others would fail. She should have thought strategically and burned some social capital to get Morgan to chose the remaining Judges like Ashley or Will. They either succeed or fail. If they both succeed, there are 3 players left (Rachel, Keanu, Kelley) and have 1:30 to complete the puzzle. Take another gamble and get Ash/Will to choose Kelley and she's most likely gone here. Worst case scenario she clutches it and you're out.

Rachel just flopped an easy elimination that was designed to keep her safe or take out someone she wasn't aligned with. The hypocrisy by people like Taran is that they'd be cracking jokes if anyone else left here.
