Doesn't matter. Han was already a non-character in ROTJ, so the sequels could easily have proceeded without him. Besides, what people really wanted was a trilogy about Luke rebuilding the Jedi, and that is what we will never, ever fucking get because you, George, you always put business interests ahead of all other concerns.

I am genuinely sorry George. I will always have issues with the prequels but, having done the actual, proper reading on you now, you were the actual real fucking deal. And I am so, so sorry for believing all the lies about you and how you made your movies. I'll never love Attack of the Clones but that's no reason to lie and make shit up about real event that happened during the making of both trilogies

Phantom Menace is genuinely a good film but the other prequel movies are terrrible. id argue this because Lucas had more time probably about 6 years to do Phantom Menace from Starting the script to theatrical release while at best he had 3 years inbetween the other movies. Given the ambition of the project as well as technical issues in terms of the stuff he was doing was never done before its easy to see how he could flub the script and have terrible execuation of his idea while the world building itself was rather great and really building what the Star Wars universe was reallly like. I mean without the prequels the Star Wars universe is a desert planet with scumbags, a desolate frozen land, a swamp planet with animals, and a jungle planet with teddy bear people.
