i agree i didnt like it as much as some of his other stuff, but its older so that gives it more weight, because its showing his unique quirkiness before he had established a reputation to warrant letting him do it.

its his most grounded. like tarantulas jacky brown, the styles are just enough to not distract from the plot and characters. very balanced. i still like acquatic the most foe rewatchability, but rushmore is a better movie
