This is what weebs don't understand. Most of anime has strong western influence (aesthetics, character design, references, etc). In fact the whole art style was originally based on Disney. But it's Japanese so it has that Oriental magic to them.

I know the langauge and tell most people to stop being silly and watch it in english. The japanese dub is great, but it won't matter to most people since it was made in mind with the english actors and language.

Cyberpunk is American (created by Mike Pondsmith), Cyberpunk 2077 is Polish (CDPR) and the animators are Japanese (Trigger), it's basically a Hapa production lmao

Tried playing Red Dead Redemption 1 recently, which is nowhere as bad as RDR2 and more like oldschool GTA. The intro and tutorial before you feel truly "free" is like an hour and a half or more.

That's fine. I believe it's best to watch and enjoy media as it was intended. This is game related, but take hi-fi rush. It's a jap game made with the english script and voice acting first. The jap cast is great, but they're not the intended experience.
