Finn should have been forced sensitive and the lead of the trilogy. Bodega has the acting to pull it off. Rey should have been a badass normal pilot/mechanic specifically who is Finn's love interest. I am ashamed to admit it but I saw force awakens in the theater three times. When Finn picks up the lightsaber in the end to fight Kylo always drew the loudest cheers and reactions. Audiences wanted badass jedi Finn, instead they turned him in to a comic relief butt monkey.
