I gotta be honest, I'd be pretty intimidated if my dad was Tony Soprano. He's a big intimidating guy, I'm just kind of sensitive.

I had a dad very similar to Tony and as a kid I never dreamed of pissing him off. Then I grew up and got away from him and realized how pathetic he was. I'd laugh in that loser's face if I ever saw him again

How did AJ manage to fuck his life up so badly? He literally could have done anything he wanted by expending the bare minimum of effort to keep Tony happy. I guess that's kind of the point of the character but it was too on the nose. I suppose he's still not even the biggest mafia kid screw-up thanks to Jackie jr.

chase did a good/great job at the mafia stuff, but the day-to-day family stuff leaves a lot to be desired. even after my ~3rd re-watch or so, i'm still constantly bored by majority of what's going on. characters are written like a flanderized version of what's already in their head.

People shit on AJ but he had a better outcome than Meadow. Went through the lows of depression and came out the other end a better person and a job he seemed to enjoy. Meadow studied law in Columbia and she ended up becoming another mobster's wife. Even Hunter ended up getting a better outcome than her.
