US WW2 slop is the worst.

It was the craziest and most well-documented major war in history, containing a practically infinite number of stories. It’s so massive that you could study it your whole lifetime. We’re unlikely to experience a bigger one in our lifetimes, since anything larger would essentially amount to warfare on a cosmic scale.

The aesthetic is just kino. The uniforms, the weapons, the tanks, the planes, the architecture.
The Napoleonic era also has 10/10 aesthetic but the mutts and Jews don't care about it so we don't have 100000 movies about it like WW2.

WW2 literally has everything a good story needs, it will never be surpassed

WW2 is peak in the trilogy. It interestingly expands upon the lore of WW1 and has better action. The Cold War has interesting ideas but, it is too long and often meandering, and the ending is somewhat anti-climatic. I never cared for that War on Terror TV show they did.

Nigga, Murat, Bernodotte, Ney, Soult, etc just from fucking memory. And they all fill their own character archetypes, from overconfident bad boy to careful and cautious advisor, to hardass that whips his soldiers into shape and is completely humourless etc.

The only thing that is less understood and isn't widely noted about the Napoleonic era is that the (((British))) were the bad guys, constantly funding wars in Europe that got millions of people killed all throughout the continent. They just would not leav Napoleon alone, not that he was perfect himself, he was more than willing to have a fight, but it was the British who were the aggressors.

because ww2 is our modern mythology, informing the reasons for existence of the world afterwords.
a war with 3 factions informed by state central planning ideologies, New deal/western powers that called themselves Democratic (when politicians and newsmen say democracy, they mean this bureaucracy form). Communists ( totality of state control over humanity, killing all morality and identity that came before) and Fascists (Commies but with a sense of aesthetics and love of previous worlds elements)
Formed after the old monarchical industrial orders died out, the guys they trained to run factories formed bureaucratic factions, took over nations, then the more agressive ones declared war on the others before being taken down. leading to the cold war which informed most of the boomer generations understanding of the world. When someone says Nazi, they mean Demon. thus all neo nazi's are simply people who dont like the dominant powers that be.
