I credit it for being something different and refreshing without kdrama tropes. Karma, The Trunk, 9 Puzzles and Low Life, as examples, do it too but I don't think its ground breaking enough to place it at top and for me at least it dipped into the absurd at times. I don't think anything is only the best ever or the worst ever. As much as I like and respect the work of Park Eun-bin this isn't her best show.

Oh those crazy Koreans. Watching Bones, you know a male and female partnership with a bit of sexual tension and humor as they solve mysteries. Its, wtf, its not Bones, its not catching bad guys and righting wrongs. Its a dope dealing duo (day jobs a married housewife and mom and an all girls art teacher) with a bit of sexual tension and humor and life and death situations. These are the good guys so gosh who can't fail to shout them encouragement and you know sell a lot of dope and make them coppers look like fools. Its funny though to see the disclaimer at first that all drugs are bad and illegal (like they didn't hurt any animals or child actors during shooting)
I think kdrama has jumped the shark with this one

Idk, I think they make it pretty clear that they aren't doing good things. Presumably Breaking Bad would be the better comparison (haven't seen it to say for sure though). It's not an aspirational story at all nor is it the first kdrama about grey characters

She has no shame (internalizing what you have done and punishing yourself for it) whatsoever. The drama presents this like she shoplifts at a convenience store because her kid is starving.
Not a kdrama but a Japanese movie Shoplifters explores grey areas but none of them pretended to be good.

I'll keep watching though. Duplicity is entertaining.

Yeah, she's a flawed character for sure. Without getting into spoilers, imo the drama actually does do a pretty good job of not justifying the actions of the leads, especially as things continue to spiral. They establish why they do the things they do, but they don't hide the corruption that it causes. Maybe you'll change your mind as you watch, maybe not. Either way I think it's an interesting drama with some pretty good twists
