I watched a few minutes of II a long time ago on Monstervision or something but didn't really stay with it. Then I got a cheap DVD trilogy. I was set up for II to be so unbelievably god-damn bad that it exceeded expectations. It's a D-average follow-up, but it had the toughest act to follow and isn't a complete train wreck. I enjoyed the 70s sets, if nothing else, and I sort of liked the contrivance of having to climb up a cliff in Ethiopia or whatever to get back to where it all started.

except it literally is not. The whole movie is retards arguing in the woods, bitching about a map, getting by twigs, running around, and ultimately ends with a retard staring at a wall. NOTHING happens. You don't see a witch, there are no good spooks. It's boring garbage that was ONLY popular because of the gimmick of people thinking it was real 25+ years ago. You watch it now though the lens of a 2025 perspective and it's a fucking slog to get through.

I like exorcism movies until the exorcism. Paranormal detective type vibes, people gradually realizing there’s a problem until they find out it’s something malevolent taking place. The problem is exorcism scenes are hacky, been done to death, and not scary or entertaining, and if the story/background is good it always feels like a weak payoff.

The Omen, Ninth Gate, Rosemary’s Baby are non-exorcism movies with this vibe. Are there any more?

i liked Dolls. i dont normally like living-doll movies but this one was a little different and i liked it. i like the literallyme fatguy who started the night chasing whores and ended up getting a daughteru and waifu. and i liked the old couple. so far I've watched re-animator, from beyond, and dolls, and plan to keep going with stuart gordon. i tried dagon last year but didnt really give it a chance so i think I'll go there again. King of the Ants is really good if anyone hasnt seen it yet. the first stuart gordon i saw before i knew who he was.
i watched dolls on sloptube and dont have any screenshots so if someone wants to post a dolls screenshot I'd like that

So Resident Evil (born in 91 so it was extra scary and hard) movies are getting another reboot
they have some shitty actors like that fat black pussy in it

How the fuck do they make this movie not shitty so they wont need to reboot?
Why not just decide the bad actors they casted need to be given other roles and just hire the best nobody look alikes for a 5 movie deal

They could have two separate movies filming at the same time
We want to see Umbrella doing glownigger ops while the world remains normal
We want to see Umbrella doing Illuminati shit with their subsidiaries
We want to see the owner of the Spencer Mansions origin
They need to do a better job setting the stage for the lab breach under the mansion hive
The fake marriage agent thing can be done way way better

They could also just do a "one shot perspective" where we just follow the STARS team land outside the abandoned mansion like the game and get chased by dogs inside
they dont split up like the game, they get forced apart when they open a random door to 20 zombies
when split up you learn Wesker is a glownigger

just do the game with the addition of an underground city with high ceilings with a hidden hive underneath
A Hiver underneath the city thats underneath raccoon city

I have a horror story for you guys. I was in love with a lesbian for 10 years. She was my oneitis hard. First time I saw her i told her that she was perfection in my eyes etc. She got out of an abusive relationship with a woman and I just randomly messaged her one night and she agreed to hang out. My lesbian oneitis agreed to hang out with me. At this point, I was a severe alcoholic and looked the worst I ever had in my life. Absolute bam margera levels of bloat lord. We hung out and talked for 8 fucking hours. It was amazing. The entire time I was thanking god that my life would finally get better. That I dont have to drink myself to death anymore. That I held on for this moment and that I would finally be saved from myself by her. My princess finally took me in. So I asked her if I could kiss her and she said "yes I was just going to ask you that." Anyways, we kiss for a bit and then go to her bedroom. We get naked and her body is amazing and mine is a mess and she didn't care. She was ready and willing and wanted me legs spread. Now, given that I was an out if shape alcoholic and was roughly 23 drinks in that day (average for me) my dick wasn't getting hard. My dick was right next to my oneitis' beautiful pussy after having been pining for her for 10 fucking years. 10 years and there she was. Byt my dick just wouldn't get hard. So I laid next to her and began panicking and blurted out "will you be my girlfriend" to a woman that just spent an hour telling me how she got out of a long abusive relationship. I didnt play it cool. I panicked and said the lamest possible thing I could have in that moment, to which she responded to by getting out of the bed and putting her clothes on. I began panicking more and started to apologize but at that point it was over. She drove me to my friends house and I got black out drunk the next night and called her and cussed her out for 30 minutes then tried drinking myself to death and woke up in the hospital

It's well made, and I was surprised that only 3 out of 4 of the stories involved racist white guys.
The odd one out, the monster story (second one), is the most relatable. The rest are entertaining but make black people seem like such a detached group from the rest of America with such odd struggles that are hard to empathize with, especially the last story that portrays gang violence like it's a common struggle for all black men to resist it.
Of course, as much as it vilifies white people with a racial consciousness and a sense of duty to their people, it heavily promotes racial solidarity among black people, to the point where it doesn't even seem to be anti-violence, but rather making a point that the violence should be directed to outside groups and not towards "the brothas"

But anyway

>The First Omen (2024)
Why do semon demons with no eyebrows turn me on so? analysis anon here, this movie might have actually filtered me bros. the main thing im picking up here is the pro-choice stance (lazy, i know) but i meant i think the pro-choice stance comes with it a claim that female sexuality is... real? i mean this is clearly a female gaze movie. all the serializations are about feeling and sensation and very little is about vision. in that way i think that the abortion access claim is related as well to the concept of rape, consent to give birth, and so on. i am reminded of the film portrait of a lady on fire, which has a similar claim, its not a womans choice to abort, but rather it should be her choice whether to complete. portrait of a lady on fire is about deciding to complete a pregnancy, and this movie seems to be about being forced to complete a pregnancy. She blacks out during the 'immaculate' conception. alcohol eroding the ability to consent and so on. And paolo, the guy who (presumably) impregnates her gets away with it. And the babies are twins! and who is the one who gets privilege? the boy. the antichrist. This isnt a possession movie int he sense that it doesnt have much to do with a religious man whos struggling and needing to accept that magic is real, but rather the struggling religious man is the only man who cares about the autonomy of the woman, and yet he struggles to keep is hands off of her, he commands her, he demands of her. His actions betray that he might himself be in a performative role, and thats seen in the resolution, where the main character must result to threat of death for him to leave her be. He has a symbolic love for her and she seeks independence. the mother daughter relationship augmented by the teenage girl, it seems to be sapphic in nature, and this film is very sapphic. Perhaps theres something here about the lesbian being forced to be bi, the bi forced to be straight, and the straight forced to be pregnant.

impregnates her... metaphorically. i think i could have made the distinction more clear but i never draft my ananlyses i just write them. yeah its satanas who impregnates her:
>She blacks out during the 'immaculate' conception. alcohol eroding the ability to consent and so on
the text is that it was the devil, the subtext is that it was a rapist, who is a devil in a cultural sense.
