I love this webm. I have come to the conclusion that cities and architecture are a nocturnal art.

architecture was an art when it had to let in sunlight, now you can just build a gray box and fill it with blue bulbs.

Victoria is kind of a cool film, set in Berlin and shot in one long take so it starts off at the late night and it ends in the early morning

obviously because it's one take there aren't any brilliantly set up shots but the characters are constantly moving and the night is slowly ending and it's kind of a cool experience and a decent script/acting

It's not art, it's nature. Civilization lost its way and stopped insisting that buildings be art. Seeing buildings and infrastructure at night is compelling because it's a more intimate time to view the accidentally laid down narrative of life. It's like reading a John Delillo book. But it's not a story told by anyone, it's not art.

You Were Never Really Here with Joaquin Phoenix. It's not all nocturnal but it has it where it counts and has the aloneness that we're talking about in this thread anyway
