First that was Ash going into a ramble, it wasn't meant to be true. Second, the idea is that the perfect organism doesn't need any of that, it just exists as a force of nature, killing everything on it's path. If that is true perfection or not is clearly open to debate, specially since that's the opinion held by every villain in the series.
