Best I came up with is Arthur Weasley or Gomez Addams, but I couldn't think of many father figures in Television & Film.
Writers usually portray the father as a cautionary tale rather than a good role model.
We need more inspirational father figures.

Legitimately, it is Ward Cleaver. I know Leave It To Beaver is criticized but the parents are legit role models on how to do it right.

I relate to Homer Jay more than almost any other dad in fiction. But no he's a terrible father.

I like to think of Hal (even thought it's silly and overblown sometimes) from Malcolm in the Middle as a good father most of the time.

Even Tim the Toolman Taylor was protrayed well as a father who cared.

Carl Winslow usually too.

Now every father is a wimp simp
