No memes, this is actually good casting. Lelouch isn't hyper masculine, he's prissy and metrosexual, you just don't notice cause of all the pussy he keeps getting. Watch him walk around, motherfucker walks gayly as fuck. He's more like a young Oxymandias than anything. Chalamet could easily cycle between highschool Lulu and the campy over-the-top drama nerd terrorist Zero. Even if the performance came across as cringy, it's lore friendly because even in universe Zero is seen as insane and ridiculous, more like V from V from Vendetta, where the guy is weird as fuck to all newcomers, but the people that have seen him work start being taken in like people in a cult. If Chalamet did a much tougher performance in Dune. Code Geass would be that same performance but completely off the rails and deliberately retarded.
