Seems like there was a similar nostalgia for the 80s in recent years, although zoomers seems to hate 80s movies, but probably watch stranger things that's set in the 80s.

Finished Coyote. Started off strong but not that good towards the end. They really pushed the whole “useless male husband” thing for 10 minutes too long. Solid addition to the creature horror genre and a good watch nonetheless.
