In Yaksha the Demonblade there is some subtext between Sara and Shigure in Sara's route. However looks like Shigure's route is setting up for hetshit (constant flashbacks about one guy). And the third one is for furries. Routes do look like they are mutually exclusive though.

Drums of War is the gold standard for me. It's got a canon lesbian protagonist. Not canon as in if she gets the right supports then you get to see a cutesy paired ending, canon as in her romance with other women is a core part of her character during the story. And to make matters better, she's also a grizzled 30-something year old veteran and not a rosy-faced teenager like so many FE protagonists. Huge rec. Also doesn't help that the maps and battles are tactically interesting too.

I played through the routes and enjoyed it a lot. The CN VAs were amazing and, for girls I cared less about, their performance carried. Only gripes would be how some of the kisses didn’t have CGs and some happy ending felt short. You can skip ch1 on replays

Before Larian shamelessly stole the idea, there was a pretty useful Minthara good playthrough mod. That was essential for a couple of months.
Other than that I think there are many great extra races mods. Even a year ago when they first ones came out they already added dozens of races and sub-races. I can only imagine that by now they also figured out how to make them dialogue relevant.
I also remember a bunch of extra classes that seemed really neat, both from the TTRPG and homebrews.

Well none of that is too relevant to this thread though. Of course what we care about are yuri mods or such that enhance the yuri. If Mass Effect can have those, then surely BG3 can too, especially because Larian literally gave people the mod tools.
I expect eventual total conversions and modules like for BG1 and 2. Maybe an Alfira/Lakrissa focused campaign.

Not really? Nothing wrong with just reusing existing monsters and assets. Total Conversion doesn't mean make entirely new thing out of nothing. It means reusing the game's assets to make something different out of them. For the easiest example, take the general landscape of Act 1's grove/goblin area and build a new fort with a forest around it. There you got a "new map". Now add some NPCs and quests and you got yourself a total conversion of BG3 for a new module that you can do whatever you want with. It's not always as ambitious as it sounds.

But yes, a game with so much detail, animations, dialogue and skill systems obviously will take effort to do anything with. But you must underestimate the sheer autism of CRPG modders.

Yes, if you want high quality campaigns, it will take a lot of effort. But smaller projects like 99% of BG1&2 modules were, is totally doable.

Larian wants Bg3 to be a platform for modding that can last decades, just like BG1&2. I think they did the best to make that happen with the restrictions WotC gave them.

I'm really not trying to sound like the mother of all negative nancies here, but wouldn't even this require creating (or modifying) tons of new 3D objects as well as creating voiced dialog for NPCs and all the quests? In BG2 things were easy because for a new quest you only needed to write up the dialog and tweak quest triggers and stuff, recording whole ass dialog for every NPC line is a way different story. Sure some of the high effort BG2 modders added in voice acting, but usually only for important lines / combat chirps. I dunno maybe I'm underestimating the BG3 community it did sell a bajillion copies

Yes, this is the most basic thing any modder can do. I do not understand why you pretend this is a big hurdle. BG2 modules have been doing that for 20 years. If you know the engine, you can work with it. Not to mention, that like I said, people have been making HUNDREDS of new assets, including entirely new race models that didn't exist in BG3. Fully functional draconoids, demons, aquatic races etc. Original and recreated spells with their own effects. How is this not sinking in?

So first of all, this is in no way a requirement. BG2 also has voice acting, yet nobody bats an eye at silent modules? You are not required to voice act in a mod. I can't really code or program, I can only write. With how many mods and tools are already available I think something could be done though. I'd be totally willing to write an Alfira Origin character campaign or BG3's main story integration. But someone with the technical skill would have to carry that mod.
Right now all I can find are mods that let Alfira join as a companion (based on the build Larian added for the new short sequence where Alfira can actually join during a Durge playthrough (they know what they did)) and some skins that just make Tav/Durge look like her. Using those you'd already have both the model and the ability tree out of the way. Then all that would be left to do would be rewriting the dialogue and perhaps modify some voicelines.

"Free" Sukebei has a bunch of jp+eng uploads. So does ryuugames.
For nihongo, novelgame.jp tons of free browser vns, dlsite has most games.
Yuriiro Frottage is one of the cheapest I can think of recent games that are decent, but it's jp only.
If you can't afford the expensive ones just pirate them, it makes no difference if you weren't gonna buy it either way.
Try the Ne No Kami series, it's decent as a plotge with yuri only and available in English.
Hayasaki no Kuroyuri is coming out in english the end of this year, it's a really good and unique VN.
Flowers and Hanabira are the most famous yuri series, just buy one of the games and pirate the rest if you're really that poor but still want to support the artists.
Tsui Yuri ~Okaa-san ni wa Naisho da yo~ I think this was an alright yuri incest game but it's been many years since I read it.

If you don't mind western authors, I liked The Fairy's Song, Highway Blossoms, BlackBerry Honey, Love Ribbon, Chasing Tails -A Promise in the Snow-, A Summer's End — Hong Kong 1986. You can also pick female gender in Wolf Tails and make it a yuri.

So in regards to Rune Factory. I remember some discussion in relation zo the RF4 mod mentioning that both 4 and RF3 yuri modding was really troublesome because of all the terrible gender flags the game has. I've only played the standard version of this mod as I'd never played RF3 at the time and wanted something close to vanilla, but I still had fun with it. There is another version available, the Hacker’s Cut Patch, which does edit the script more to address any awkwardness that people might have with the standard version. However it seems to change some of the story which is why I didn't use it for a first playthrough. The readme explains the changes as such;

As for the Stardew mods, Good Luck Haley adds and edits her dialogue to give her a sort-of coming out arc. Lesbian Haley was always a fairly liked headcanon for her (everyone loves a Regina George type meangirl lesbian) but after that Chappell Roan song came out it suddenly got associated with Haley and inspired a couple of mods. On the flip side of player romances, Life Cycle adds rival heart events similar to how Harvest Moon used to do them in their older titles. The mod mostly has events for the vaguely canon rivals (whoever you see them dancing with at the flower festival) but those can be turned off in the mod settings which leaves Haley and Leah. It's a fun mod if you miss rival gameplay from the Harvest Moon days or if you're planning to marry someone else and don't want to be the only gays in the village.

Due to popular demand and at the cost of my sanity, the paste has been updated to now include a selection of Baldur's Gate 3 mods. Patch 8 came out recently and messed with a lot of mods, so some of them are still in the process of updating.
Here are some highlights:
-Polyamory mod
-Fixes to a bunch of dialogue, including several important Minthara romance dialogue trees that are still bugged in the vanilla game to this day
-Minthara sex scene unlock for good playthroughs
-(very unstable) female versions of the male companions
-Oh so many playable races, this time with dialogue reactivity and unique builds. I espeically recommend the female exclusive Nymph mod.
-No party limit. This will be messy
-Shadowheart immersive romance changes to her character arc (even allows your femC to propose to her)
-Better city date with Karlach

There are too many BG3 mods. I don't want to go back into the mines.... please someone else take over... I haven't even added any Lae'zel specific mods yet.

In case you're new to modding, just remember to carefully check out the mods' pages and dependencies. This list only gives suggestions for mods and while I attempted to put as many general purpose mods in there as possible to make it easy for other mods to be installed without having to think too much about it, it's still a fairly uncoordinated list.

Dialogue/bug fixes and race mods tend to be those that interfere the least with anything in my experience. Anything that alters companions has a lot more chances of breaking or causing conflicts. Like if two mods overwrite a specific dialogue file they will generally get in each others way, unless a compatibility mod was made, which is also a reason I tend to stick with bigger more stable mods as they get more support.

Changing the male companions (Wyll, Astarion, Gale) into women is probably the most finnicky process right now. Frankly even if the process were easy, the voice mods are just not there yet for me. AI/synth just isn't able to imitate human voice acting. Always feels off, even if it's far surpassed the days of text to speech garbage. But you can't expect fan voice actors to dub a game as enormous as BG3.

I played Kotor 2 like 10 years ago, just because I'm a Star Wars fan and heard these games were good. They really are some of the best Star Wars media turns out and Kotor 1 having the very first canon lesbian character in all of Star Wars media definitely helped me appreciate it more.

The game is dynamic all the way through, almost none of the events are gender-specific. The events usually culminate with the sex minigame which is basically the one thing that takes your physical properties into account. The NPCs you find, both named and random, are all configurable and can be set to be 100% female.
The obvious downside, and what I would say is the game's biggest weak point, is the lack of female-exclusive content, but realistically speaking this is as good as we can expect.

DoL Plus is basically the only content mod you would want to use, everything else is just graphics and those mods usually overwrite each other. If you hover over the "Play" button you can pick the graphic combination you want, if it's not there you'll have to build and install everything yourself.

Leaving the inanely bad troll aside, something actually interesting about Guardians of Azuma is some changes they made to romance and marriage.
1. You can't lose bond points. So you can't fuck up even if you ignore the lover too long or give her bad presents.
2. You can still date multiple girls, but it's much easier because confessions always succeed and you don't have some random chance to get rejected.
3. Same-sex marriage is the same as het marriage, you just go to the Fateweaver Shrine to confirm your marriage partner. But if you want to have children, same-sex pairings bury a special turnip in the ground and the child apparently grows from that lol
4. You can actually choose your child's looks (sort of) even if they will have traits of both parents. It will also cause a 5 year time skip for each child. As usual the children have bonds and can be party members for the post game dungeons.
5. The weirdest new addition is changing fate. This means you can go to Fateweaver Shrine and jump to an alternate timeline where you were never married. This resets your current marriage partner to bond level 4 and you can marry someone else and get the diferent children. Nothing else resets (not even the endgame dungeons), so you don't lose any progress.

You talk to them, give them gifts, get some cutscenes where you bond with them, and eventually you can date them, which changes their dialogue and unlocks more events (and allows you to do little date events). Then you can marry them and have kids. Rune Factory generally has more fleshed out children than stardew or most of the hf/sos games.
This entry in particular has more emphasis on going on dates and getting to be affectionate compared to previous games.

Don't think so. I only played vanilla's intro to see the difference in sprites, but the combat looks the same. There are some other graphics mods that change the combat animations, but not the character sheet sprite and some that change both, but don't look that good.

If ya want the best of both worlds I recommend:
DolPlus + Goose mod + Mysterious mod. Not sure what else it does, but Mysterious changed the combat/sex sprites to look nicer.

Night Slave is a PC-98 mecha game with Visual Novel segments. A true classic and it got a proper fan translation last year. The kicker? It's 100% lesbian focused. There are only a few sex scenes, but there is also a pretty strong romantic note to the ending.

Despite what the modern Japanese revisionist history might make you want to believe, in the late 80s to 90s there were quite a few lesbian focused games. The PC-98 alone had a dozen. Night Slave is a more well known one, but the most famous example is probably Possessioner, a high quality and deep Cyberpunk game where your special operations unit takes down possessed women and then cures them of their affliction via lesbian sex. There is some translation project for that, but it has not really been progressing publically for like 5 years, so don't get your hopes up.

Ehh, not really. The cult is pretty central to your goals and you want to do events related to it. But admittedly you can technically ignore a lot of it. I also have to mention that I used the recommended Witchcraft mod, which Sappho is compatible with and adds a whole lot more, including some demon related storylines.

One notable thing about the Sappho mod is that you can eventually summon succubus demon armies which are kind of more interesting than vanilla armies, but you can still totally play with normal soldiers instead.

Due to the storyline my arch nemesis was an ancient body stealing 1000 year old Arabic Wizard who took over the Vatican and all of Italy (who were my allies) and turned them against me and then converted their armies into the undead and we had a magic duel showdown where I had to destroy him with the magic knife I forged. So yeah... things escalate a lot if you use both mods to their fullest. But some of it is randomized.
