Far Cry 1 is a solid 9/10 too. Every part of the game is just so well done even if its lets down by some questionably good AI near the end.

couldve done without the repetative busy work in every area, thats for sure, and some performance issues were baffling (mainly with stutters)
still i was very surprised at how much i enjoyed it overall, great roadtrip vibes

and another point for being a terrible remaster and the new controls cucking me out of swapping weapons until I found you could change them back to classic

Enemy variety is a bit lacking but great fun overall.

Also, Arx Fatalis: 8/10, it was fun, I enjoyed the setting and whatnot, and then it just ended anticlimactically. The Ylsides were neat, I enjoyed fighting them.

The gap between Ursula and later bosses is staggering. She's hard AND fun as fuck, the final dungeon boss gauntlet are total snoozefests, furthermore the final boss (or true ending final boss) are just not challenging enough.
At least exploration is fun.
