Like she gets pissed off and pretend-sad at literally every interaction that doesn't paint Susie as being single handedly interested in her, constantly puts down Kris and Berdly to gain points with Susie, just has this aura of constant manipulator and absolutely needing Susie to be her partner.

She's definitely not a good friend, but calling her a psycho feels a bit much. She's also gone through shit. At the very least she still has the introspection to realize she's bullshitting about Kris and seems to be on the verge of admitting she totally lied to Susie.

Kris seems like a better friend but pushed away due to whatever circumstances will be revealed as the game advances. We'll see if it's just guilt, depression, or if there's a particular and more practical reason why Kris put some distance. Either case I feel like whatever Kris is aiming for will turn out to be an attempt at fixing things for Noelle, even if it results in breaking their friendship in the process. (not talking about the soul in wierd route, talking about actual Kris)

In some interview somewhere toby described undertale as a fanfiction of another game that doesn't exist yet. Basically it's the game/setting he originally had in mind or something and undertale was a spin off.
