Nah, DD2 is unique in its shittiness by being a remake of the 1st game+cats-lolis that no one asked for with almost zero new content.

NG4 just looks like your typical soulless sequel made by different devs that dont really understand what came before but are trying really hard to make something out of their limited knowledge and skill. Kinda like Doom16. It will be an alright game most likely, but it wont be Ninja Gaiden.

It's the polar opposite, we got Platinum's aura & ambition under the backing of Team NINJA's expert guidance and Microsoft's israeli money.

SoB is just a small part of the bigger picture and it's not going to magically carry you against the biggest filters of the game like van gelfs, alchemists, imperfect goddesses, claw ninjas or the paracelsus fiends even if you can occasionally SoB some of them or even learn to bait them into doing these attacks.
Doing UT isn't worth unless other alchemists are also inactive, you get hyperarmor during the charge while taking 2x the damage so charging past lvl 1 UT is way too risky for the healthbar and in the same time it takes to get the charge you can do other things that are better. Lunar and Talons can just izuna drop the nigger for example, the first hit knocks him back and the second catches.

I don't think it's possible for this game to be as half assed as DD2. It just isn't ambitious enough, no strike against NG4 but it's probably just going to be a mostly linear hack and slash.

You can, but it’s tight. Time and combo score have to be on point to make up for any missed collectibles. Some missions are way more lenient than others though—Stage 9 practically hands out S-ranks if you don’t get hit.
