Right now the only thing MKW has over any other racer this year/season/gen, is the soundtrack (over 200+ all new original remix tracks, all 2:30+, covering every single genre imaginable, live orchestra, featuring music from all the mario franchise) but thats IT.

The open world is a legit nice gimmick, but its clear is not as well fleshed as it should, and the roster is still ABYSMAL (a fucking cow, REALLY!?)

Try to realize the main reason characters like Spongebob, TMNT, etc, are getting in is because they're owned by Paramount/Viacom, who are the same people handling the Sonic movies. What I find funny is that Nintendo thinks their brand in unstoppable except it failed with examples like the Wii U. The point I'm getting at is as far as these racing games go Mario Kart World is going to sell worse than the last entry because its roster is shit. And a few other flaws. But holy hell talk about playing as unfun characters.

And what makes Mario Kart World oh so sad roster wise is this, you could get away with no Link or Isabelle BUT use your actual renown Mario characters that never were used as racers like Wart, King K Rool, Ashley, E Gadd, Fawful, Dimentio. Basically they have the fuel needed to charge up the roster but they chose NOT to. That's what makes them shit.

Nintendo chose the worst of both worlds. And Mario Kart World deserves to sell less than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The problem with more Sonic characters is everyone here understands how Sega wants to either not do Sonic Comics or greatly limit them you will be lucky if you can even get two Sonic Comics characters.
