I don't know Donkey Kong could face different villains the problem is that the staff never gets too creative when it comes to making new baddies for DK. Look at other franchises like Ninja Turtles who have great Non Shredder villains. Look at Kirby and how many different nemesis he fights against.

The Ninja Turtles on the other hand much like Sonic they have a RICH roster of characters that they can get away with doing their own racing game. Hell the turtles aren't strangers to loving vehicles like Donatello inventing cars and airships for the team. Too bad Nickelodeon is shit.
