I refuse to believe that because those comics are legit HORRIBLE. Let me give you a run down...
Villain Character does evil psychotic thing and the turtles go "Wah! We can't kill anyone because killing is wrong! So our enemies only die if they kill themselves or a random minor character kills them for us because we are Loser Ninja Turtles!"

Real shame because they should have done what Fortnite did when they had the TMNT DLC, create original incarnations of the turtles.
Not to mention the idea of using the character designer from the Sonic Adventure games to make renditions of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael would be so much better as it would fit into the Sonic Art Style. I don't know Donkey Kong could face different villains the problem is that the staff never gets too creative when it comes to making new baddies for DK. Look at other franchises like Ninja Turtles who have great Non Shredder villains. Look at Kirby and how many different nemesis he fights against.
