Regigigas has been my favorite legendary since gen 4 and the idea that he is a rambunctious fragment of primordial chaos is fucking radical as all hell to me.

Only Regieleki and Regidraco should be hated, since they dont fit the original regi lore at all and were made only for le epic reference

What leaks? I always liked the Regi's.
My assumption was Regigigas was one of Arceus' earlier creations along with the creation trio and Groudon/Kyogre to reshape the world for life.

How so? Just states they were sealed away, never says exactly how much. Regigigas wouldn't fit either under that view.
They represent different ages, before humanity, the ice age, the stone age, the bronze age, and the modern age.

Game Freak got hacked last year, among the leaks was discarded designs and lore. Things like interbreeding between Pokemon and people came up a few times, weird acts of violence, we got a more detailed outline on a possible cosmology, etc. Regis were meant to be remaining fragments of Arceus' birth that fought with it for some reason. Some of that might be referenced in the plates you can find in gen 4.

It's the original lore that doesn't include them at all, it is always said that Regigigas created 3 golems not 5, with rock, ice and magma. There's nothing about electricity and... dragons? Also, Regigigas apparence is based only on the three regi colors (grey, light blue, reddish brown) that are the colors of his eyes.

True enough I suppose. It could be there were only 3 in the region.
I get what you're saying though. Obviously the original intent was three, then a trio master later as happened before, but I don't think the additions necessarily break the lore.
The new genie though, that one was pretty bad.
