Even if it isn't canon, i'll accept these crumbs.
Always thought the Regi's were some of the coolest legendaries.
Honestly makes me want a spin off game where you're restoring Regigigas's power only to find out its hell bent on fighting Arceus and potentially causing a world ending event.

They are a little bit more dubious. Some of the Origin Myth docs state that they took on pokemon form, others just refer to them as creations of Arceus.
In game canon conveys the latter as Sinjoh Ruins lets Arceus just create one from a cosmic egg.

Just read the plates and then read the myth doc notes and it is all one-to-one explained.
>Defeated Giants
What "giants?"
>Their powers were put into the plates
When and how?

then you read pmyth5.2 "Ausu" and it explains exactly where the giants came from (the cosmic egg) why they attacked Aus/Arceus and was defeated (Because of their Jungian Fear of Existing after an eternity of non-existence)

Its really simple, especially if you ask Japanese players who bridged this gap decades ago.
