You should be aggressive, use your combos and skills. It's not a game to be standing around waiting for your moment to strike, just go head on and be reactionary. Parrying is more viable than dodging, but dodging can be needed depending on the enemy's move. You get the colored indications for that.

Dodging is too inconsistent (unless it's that special teleporting dodge move you can do sometimes when an enemy does a special attack, always do that one), just parry. Get the upgrade to make perfect parry easier and get all the upgrades for beta gain rate. Then get all the upgrades for your favorite beta move and spam that. Triplet is my favorite. Be aggressive.

I don't think fuse is the canon ending. The ending where eve fights adam has more setup for a continuation of the story. The fight with Adam is not black and white, she doesn't believe in mother sphere but feels she has to end this fight.

It's not the standard action game, you expect a hit that takes 20% of your health to knock you back, Stellar Blade doesn't do that, it leaves you on that same spot so you can parry the next move, if you don't then that's another 20% of your health gone and you STILL don't get pushed back.

Stellar Blade was already on its way when Nikke launched, but Nikke's success means that Shiftup can honestly do whatever they want with Stellar Blade and have it purely be a passion project. Greed gets to studios too much sometime. I think Shiftup was just hanging on for many years because Destiny Child did alright, but it was never a huge run away success like Nikke.

All attacks, but if an attack isn't yellow you're better off parrying. Not sure about windows but parry's better as it can somewhat animation cancel your light attacks and even if you fuck up you still block if you aim your parries for before the hit.
Personally, if an attack isn't a yellow (so non parryable, has to be dodged) I always parry.

If an attack is red, parry.
If there's a yellow, blue, or purple flash, you need to dodge.
But blue and purple have associated skills that reward doing an extra directional input. Blue is a forward dodge, purple is a backwards dodge.
