yeah. having a multiplayer focused souls game and not having custom characters is insane to me. making a spinoff of a game that many people enjoy for the deep progression options and making it a run based roguelite is insane. Failing to balance the game for 1-2 players and making it 3 players ONLY is fucking insane.

It's easier since the health of the bosses scales down and arguably less fun. Needing to coordinate with two other people while having no way to communicate besides pinging is a special type of enjoyment.

I clear 90% of runs with randoms. 5% are disconnect problems 5% are genuine losses. I've never lost before the nightlord because any character can easily solo a night 1 or 2 boss even scaled for 3. I frequently forget to level up before the night 1 boss and do it at like level 3 or 5. I play every class except the bird. Fuck the bird.

PSA Duchess is a mage. Her int is her strongest stat. She has no fp regen mechanic but does almost the same output as recluse with magic.

It's a shame that nightlords just aren't weak to magic damage, and many are resistant, Duchess can outpace Recluse damage because of Restage on paper, but most sorceries being magic damage is kind of a nerf on direct casting. Also pretty easy to have nigh-infinite FP with starlight shards once I got proficient at getting into mage towers.

It's just a random chance on any gaol. If you're achevo hunting, just do single player runs and farm the gaols. There's guaranteed keys at every ruined church (treasure chest behind altar on fire assholes, ghosts, and golem, up in the rafters by jumping up behind the altar on bubble boys), so just charge through those then try the closest gaol.

That was the last achievement left for me too. Used the spawn with stonekey relic (+
Wraith Calling Bell) and bolted to the first evergaol in singleplayer -> reset until a appropriate boss spawned. You can just kill the boss with the wraith calling bell at low level if you run back to a bonfire to fill your FP once its out or just level up a bit after finding the boss, it won't despawn.
