He makes me so profoundly fucking sad.

Most characters who are people pleasures and just want to be nice and make other people happy typically get to me, that's why I like ralsei. But tenna is different because he used to be happy and when the family got broken up tenna suffered. It's clear that Kris is annoyed at tenna for constantly bringing up the happier times, but I just feel sad.

Everytime he gets sad that the team wants to move on and end the show I feel sad. I would want a hundred more game shows. I thought the games were really fun.

I'm really happy he ends up with future mettaton though, that's a great pairing. I now quietly ship mettaton and tenna together to cope

Funny he said that, because that was exactly my reaction to chapter 3. I wasn't sure about it initially, but then I analyzed it in my head some, discussed stuff on /v/, watched Joel's stream, replayed it fully, and now I am fully convinced it's at least as good as chapter 2.

I have no idea why ch3 was getting hate at the start, ch4 sucked for me. It had no central villain, no funny moments, no Mini games. it's just a dungeon crawler and serious moments. I get that people want most heavy handed plot progression but making that the cliffhanger didn't feel good.
