>>712918282That incident was so weird that I can just kinda laugh about it now. What REALLY makes me glad I moved out was that one time I stopped a couple local kids' arson attempt right behind my window. They had stolen some flammable chemicals from some construction site, perhaps, and poured them onto the corner of the wooden house and ignited some plant matter on the ground below it. I was at home with a half-open window and heard them do it, so I was right on the scene to stop it from actually spreading. I didn't get names or even a good look at their faces and no damage was done so the police didn't give a shit when I called them. But looking at the news, since then it's apparently become something of a trend in that area for kids to attempt (and sometimes succeed at) arson, because of dares on social media or whatever.
