And now used carts could have had their certs stolen by a Mig Cart and could get you banned.

>how does it happen
Gamestop selling loose Switch carts with price stickers on them, that get haphazardly pulled off by the next owner.

I remember GameStop would always hideously markup used games. I sold them a DS game and got $10 for it, then next week I saw that exact game on the shelf, "USED $34.99"

Serious question how would you go on about fixing this? My staples closed so I can't just print a tiny label like this. What resources are people using reprint Switch cartridge labels?

>buy Switch game used from a seller on an auction site
>wait for it in the mail
>huh, it's kinda taking its sweet time, isn't it
>weeks later late one night, catch a glimpse of something in the plastics waste bin that sends a jolt down my spine
>it's the game case of the game I bought, with the paper cover slip taken out and crumpled alongside it
>rummage the bin and find the game cart itself as well (still functioning, but somehow missing the label and with scratches that looked suspiciously like bite marks)
>for some reason my roommate who lived in the same student apartment saw fit to open my mail and apparently didn't know what a fucking video game was and as such threw it in the trash (no idea what mud hut country he was originally from)
Glad I moved out of that place soon after. The weirdest thing is that the dude was perfectly amicable at all times so it clearly wasn't a malicious act, he was just completely out of it. I chewed him out for it later but I'm not sure either of us really understood what the other thought.

yeah because you're selling it to a business that's trying to make a profit. they'll all try to buy low and sell high. if you want real money for it then you have to sell to an actual person because they're going to be playing it and not reselling it

You bought something used off somebody who didn't provide photos of the goods? This is entirely on you, retard.

Oh that was mine, i pissed on it and shoved it up my ass before selling it.

are you autistic, why care what it looks like you can haggle it down cheaper.
you a reseller? faggot

Did you buy the cartridge to look at it or play the game?

CeX used to be based and the fact they sold games for less than a pound makes me wonder how they could make ANY profit
but after the plandemic that all changed
Anonymous No.712913764 [Report]
Switch games are dicey to buy used because some people swap the stickers on the cartridge and then return them for full price to get a new game for "free".

Be creative and redraw the logo. Like that kid on the Mario Kart 64 cartridge. I can't find the pic unfortunately

Yes? Resellers generally pay 10-25% to buy something. Why would you do it otherwise? Charity?

I can't tell which console this is for at all! Help!!!
Anonymous No.712921457 [Report]
>>712910797
Yeah it's incredible. Same thing when you sell your console at a great price and include games and everything and then you still get assholes going "uuuuh how about $100 less?"
Anonymous No.712921746 [Report]
>>712920937
I've looked into this and it seems whatever console it's for, it ends in either ld or U. Since there is no Nintendo console that ends in ld, it's probably the Wii-U. Hope that helps.

Seems to me like the owner was pissed he got a Switch after playing the mess that was the Let's Go games. Don't get me wrong, the graphics were pretty clean and sharp, but everything else was butchered. Only thing that was kind of just left alone was trainer battling.

That incident was so weird that I can just kinda laugh about it now. What REALLY makes me glad I moved out was that one time I stopped a couple local kids' arson attempt right behind my window. They had stolen some flammable chemicals from some construction site, perhaps, and poured them onto the corner of the wooden house and ignited some plant matter on the ground below it. I was at home with a half-open window and heard them do it, so I was right on the scene to stop it from actually spreading. I didn't get names or even a good look at their faces and no damage was done so the police didn't give a shit when I called them. But looking at the news, since then it's apparently become something of a trend in that area for kids to attempt (and sometimes succeed at) arson, because of dares on social media or whatever.

one of the great things about buying used is that if the label is damaged you can pretend you give a shit and haggle the price down :)

Are we sure that's actually what is happening? I've never heard of legit games getting anyone banned, only the MiG cart itself
