well what's the point if your build becomes outdated every 2 years? consoles will go 5-10 years and these days are playing games equal to or even greater than top end PCs

It's a 2070 minimum, which is around base PS5 and Xbox Series X level. You clearly need certain minimum hardware extensions and 8GB of VRAM, it's totally reasonable.
