Yep. I don't even hate Fallen Order (never played Jedi Survivor) but you can clearly see in many facets that they are developements that wouldn't even fit with the old canon in any way, not even just in the grand narrative or their compatibility with the stories but the overall feel and direction. Fallen Order was somewhat fresh but it felt rehashed and not all that remarkable, and it felt like a vacuum filler, or rather "safe". Whatever 1313 would have been, THAT was ambitious and interesting as a concept. You could get a LOT more creative with the old canon.

Its honestly amazing how prior to 2012 the Star Wars brand was still growing strong. Then Disney buys it out and kills it down to the microbial level. There is 0 hope of a good SW product now and newer generations associate the brand with Rey Palpatine, Filonitrash or D+ shows about lesbian space covens singing "The Power of One."
