She is a Mishima but with all the specific weaknesses/limitations of Mishima characters being very conveniently removed or covered by specific moves. To give an example of how baby-mode Mishima this character is, a common issue Mishima players may encounter is that their best threatening startup, the crouch dash, leaves them very exposed to fast moves since they are pressing forward into the opponent. But for Reina they gave her a parry specifically for when she is attacked while doing that. I have never seen the parry be used intentionally because the weakness it nullifies was such a natural part of playing a Mishima it just doesn't make sense for it to exist, they basically just want the character to look like a Mishima but have none of the complexity involved.
