i think the signficant difference is that, the worst parts of SF4 were only even experienced at higher levels. people couldn't even FADC in Bronze.
from the first second of your first match of SF6 though, it's fucking Drive Rush and Drive Impact and throw loops all the way down to Wood tier. the kookily shit in 6 is inescapable. it is intrinsic because of how simple and aggressive the Drive System is.

3/4's of the game is a reflex check. they replaced traditional neutral with a FNAF Jump Scare mechanic that both players spam at each other from mid-to-full screen. the other 1/4 of the game is a 50/50 throw check every time your character tries to stand up.
