I enjoyed Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil mostly for the metaphysical subtext of the story, and the music.

I think its a give and take, The visuals and of dtp's remake really lacked the ps1 charm, but I was just happy to not have to emulate lunatea's veil
lets be real, nobody expected this game to bring back klonoa. it was just nice to see the series get some attention and a fresh port.

I think they did a serviceable job for what little money went into this. its a cheap port built on an even shitter port that they bothered to go back and improve. if you thought you the ending cutscene in 1 was going to match the charm and nostalgia of the original
then you need to quit huffing galaxy gas. the camera pan of a ps2 launch title with some new textures tossed in isnt going to make my jaw drop either. both games play like they should, and thats the important thing.

phantasie reverie was my introduction to the series and i enjoyed it very much. even went as far as getting the vinyl soundtracks for both games. most people here just want to jerk it to klonoa though, or they shut down anything related to the remaster cause they'd rather the series die in obscurity than have to share their precious niche game.
