Crysis suit is one of the worst power armors ever. You're just regular fucking Joe Farcry but you can pick ONE (1) stat to improve, on a fucking cooldown.
And what fearsome foes do you fight? Just a bunch of sweaty brown people on the beach, and then the least interesting aliens ever. Oh man, I feel so powerful, I can blow straight through these stick and twig beach houses with malaysians inside of them, like I already easily do in far cry. This power suit is getting put through its paces! I better wait and charge my battery in case I have to fucking jump a little bit higher than usual in the next ten minutes though.

Also that dude is wrong, nanosuit is in a manner of speaking powered armor, especially when the suit had boost from connection to the Alpha Ceph. It's not a conventional armor, and in a sense it's not even a suit, but it does fulfill power armor role in practice as one of its functions in almost all but name.

I dunno, I've never really had this issue with anyone that actually plays or is into the tabletop, but maybe it's actually an in-person deal (I've only played at my LGS and they're chill/know the deal but also more inclined for Alpha Strike). I know from playing other skirmish wargames that in-person people can oddly be a lot worse than anyone online.

But otherwise, in my experience, most people do get the whole thing of how movement modifiers are about how you're moving way too fast to both shoot and get shot at, so they know the score when it comes to having one hit the jets and jump over city blocks n' shit in no time at all.

Theres literally nothing outside Kamen rider for examples of Japanese sci fi armor because they only give a shit about euro fantasy settings, Shonen settings that make the concept of armor a moot thing, typical moeshit and slice of life animu settings.

Being Gung ho is a foreign concept to them so they're averse to any space marine grunt fighting with BFGs and power armor. They have mecha but that usually ends up in 2 camps

Seems like you lean more into Early Heisei's style, so Kuuga is an easy recommendation if you dont mind a more monster-every-two-week sorta deal and only one rider, then do Agito right after. Blade starts out very rough but has a very strong finish too.

If you liked Gaim you may like Build, its widely considered the best season of Late Heisei, it at least has my favorite villain in all of kamen rider.
